LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Mar.27.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Richie Sambora is filing for joint custody of his daughter with Heather Locklear.

The Associated Press reports that the Bon Jovi guitarist seeks joint physical and legal custody of the couple's 8-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth. He is also asking the court to enforce the couple's premarital agreement and for the court to give up its right to order Sambora to pay spousal support.

Locklear filed for divorce on February 2, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences.

Sambora and Locklear were married for 11 years.
