NEW YORK, NY  [Tuesday Mar.14.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey's comeback continues, with the singer's latest album reaching the Platinum mark again.

Last week, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that "The Emancipation of Mimi" had achieved the six-times Platinum mark.

Carey's "Mimi" also earned another honor. According to the RIAA, "The Emancipation of Mimi" tied with rapper 50 Cent's "The Massacre" as the highest certified album of 2005, achieving a five-times Platinum certification.
