Mariah Carey and John Legend each win two Soul Train Awards.
PASADENA, CA [Wednesday Mar.8.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- It was all about Mariah Carey and John Legend at the 20th Annual Soul Train Music Awards.
During the event, which took place last Saturday (March 4) in Pasadena, California, Carey and Legend were honored with two awards each.
Carey's comeback record "The Emancipation of Mimi" won Best Female R&B/Soul Album, and her hit song "We Belong Together" earned Best Female R&B/Soul Single.
John Legend took home the Best Male R&B/Soul Album for his debut release, "Get Lifted," and he also won the award for Best Male R&B/Soul Single for "Ordinary People."
Other winners included Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Destiny's Child, Kanye West, and Missy Elliott, and Jamie Foxx was presented with the Quincy Jones Lifetime Achievement Award.
