Country Grammy Award Winners
Alison Krauss and Union Station win big at Grammys.

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.10.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The big country winners at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards were Alison Krauss and Union Station, who picked up Grammys for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal on "Restless," plus Best Country Album for "Lonely Runs Both Ways," and Best Country Instrumental Performance for "Unionhouse Branch."

The Best Female Country Vocal Performance went to "The Connection" by Emmylou Harris.

The more mainstream country winners were Faith Hill and Tim McGraw for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals on "Like We Never Loved at All."

The Best Country Male Vocal Performance went to Keith Urban on "You'll Think of Me."

And, the Country Song of the year went to Rascal Flatts' "Bless the Broken Road," with the award going to the songwriters, Bobby Boyd, Jeff Hanna & Marcus Hummon.
