LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.10.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Kelly Clarkson is flying solo again these days.

According to US Weekly, the recent double-Grammy winner has broken up with her rocker boyfriend Graham Colton. The pair had been dating for seven months.

Wondering why Clarkson and Colton didn't stay together? Clarkson tells US it's because the couple hardly got to see each other due to their hectic schedules.

"We were both like, 'This doesn't make any sense,'" she told the magazine.

In spite of going their separate ways, Clarkson says she remains good friends with Colton and that they may even get back together in the future. But in the meantime, Clarkson says, "If I'm not going to get to hang out or make out, I don't really want to date."
