LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Feb.7.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- After 11 years of marriage, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear are calling it quits.

The actress' publicist confirmed the split last Thursday to the Associated Press. Locklear filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," and she has requested custody of the couple's eight-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth.

Locklear was previously married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee for seven years. This was the first marriage for Sambora.
