Coachella Lineup Announced
Depeche Mode, Franz, Common, James Blunt to Coachella.

INDIO, CA  [Thursday Feb.2.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The lineup has been confirmed for the seventh annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, Common and James Blunt will all take the stage during the two-day concert event.

Depeche Mode is scheduled to headline the festivities on Saturday, April 29th, while hard rock band Tool headlines Sunday, April 30th.

More than 80 artists are scheduled to play the two-day event held at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California, including Franz Ferdinand, Common, James Blunt, Sigur Ros, Damian Marley, My Morning Jacket, Digable Planets, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bloc Party, Paul Oakenfold, Scissor Sisters, Coheed and Cambria, Matisyahu, Sleater-Kinney, TV on the Radio, and Little Louie Vega.

Tickets for Coachella go on sale this Saturday, February 4th, at 12 noon through Ticketmaster. General admission tickets are priced at $85.00 for a one-day ticket and $165.00 for two-day pass, plus applicable service charges and a $1 donation per day for charity. There is an eight ticket limit per person.

Camping passes will go sale at the same time and are available for anyone 18 and over. The cost is $35 for a three-night stay (Friday, April 28 at 3:00 PM through Monday, May 1 at 10:00 AM). The campground facilities include a general store, food court, restrooms, showers and shade areas.
