Band unharmed after plane skids off runway in Canada.
TORONTO, CANADA [Monday Jan.23.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Last Saturday, a Canada-bound flight got a little scary for the members of Bon Jovi.
The band and its touring crew were on a Boeing 707 traveling from Buffalo to Toronto, where Bon Jovi is scheduled to play three sold-out shows at the Air Canada Centre.
The plane had to make its landing during severe weather and skidded off the runway at Hamilton International Airport, reports Yahoo! Music. None of the 14 passengers or flight crew was injured.
Bon Jovi is on a tour of the United States and Canada in support of its latest album, "Have A Nice Day." After the North American tour wraps up on March 11th, the band will take a two-month break before launching its European tour in May.
