MIAMI, FL.  [Tuesday Jan.10.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Snoop Dogg and Nelly are hitting the football field.

MTV.com reports that the rappers are taking part in the first annual Battle of the Stars Youth Football Classic. Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Trick Daddy, Diddy and Luther Campbell are each coaching kids' football teams that will compete with each at the event.

The Battle of the Stars Youth Football Classic takes place this Saturday, January 14th, at Dolphins Stadium in Miami.

Nelly's St. Louis All-Stars will face off against Trick Daddy's Miami Overtown Rattlers, while the Snoop Dogg All-Stars play Diddy's Mount Vernon Razorbacks.
