Depeche Mode
DRESDEN, GERMANY  [Monday Jan.9.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Around 2,000 forged tickets have been sold for the sold-out leg of Depeche Mode's forthcoming tour of Germany.

According to the band's official web site, the fake tickets were auctioned off on eBay under the member names "werd mich los" and "Ediths D 1 a Textilien.de."

DepecheMode.com advises purchasers of the fake tickets to request compensation from the relevant eBay agents and warns that the phony tickets will not be honored at the shows.

The Berlin police have taken a 29-year-old man into custody. He is suspected of fraud for distributing forged Depeche Mode tickets over the Internet.

Depeche Mode's tour of Germany kicks off January 13th in Dresden and includes concerts in Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen and Mannheim.
