No Regrets For Green Day
Green Day calls 2005 best year of its career.

by Krista Desens

Green Day
OAKLAND, CA  [Tuesday Jan.3.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The last 12 months were pretty busy for Green Day, but the band has "no regrets," says Billy Joe Armstrong.

You could even say the band had the time of its life.

Armstrong told Billboard.com that 2005 "was a crazy year, but it's been the best year of our career."

During 2005, Green Day won numerous awards for its album "American Idiot," including the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The band also wrapped up a successful year of touring in support of the disc, including its first-ever headlining stadium trek.

So is Green Day sorry to see 2005 come to an end?

"It's gonna be kind of sad for it to end," says Armstrong, "But, you now, we don't have any regrets."
