NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Dec.30.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- 3 Doors Down and Mariah Carey are among the artists counting down to 2006 on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" special on ABC.

The Mississippi rockers will perform the songs "Let Me Go" and "Landing In London" during the show, while Carey will perform live from New York City's Times Square.

Other artists scheduled to perform include the Pussycat Dolls, Sean Paul, Chris Brown, Sugarland, the Bangles, and 311.

Dick Clark is back co-hosting the 34th annual special, along with Ryan Seacrest and Hilary Duff. Clark was forced to miss last year's show while he recovered from a stroke.

The two-part "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" airs Saturday evening, December 31st, on ABC.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2006, Part 1" airs from 11:35 p.m. to 1:05 a.m., ET/PT and includes musical performances, plus the traditional countdown and ball drop from Times Square.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2006, Part 2" airs from 1:05 to 2:05 a.m., ET/PT and includes additional performance by all of the musical acts.
