NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Dec.23.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The last time Sugarland appeared at a Dick Clark Productions event, the group walked away with the overall Favorite New Artist trophy from the American Music Awards.

Sugarland's reward seems to be an invitation to appear at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve annual bash from Times Square.

It will be Clark's first appearance on TV since he was suffered a stroke a year ago. Ryan Seacrest and Clark co-host in New York, while Hilary Duff handles the West Coast segments.

In addition to Sugarland, performers include Duff, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, the Bangles and The Pussycat Dolls. Check your local listings for showtimes.
