NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday Dec.1.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Coldplay's new single "Talk" made a guest appearance on last night's episode of "CSI: NY."

The song was featured twice during the show as part of a cross-promotional deal between Capitol Records and CBS.

In one important scene of "CSI: NY," detective Danny Messer's cell phone rings to the tune of Coldplay's "Talk." On the next commercial break, CBS ran a message giving viewers the details on how to purchase the same Coldplay ringtone heard on the show for their own phones.

"Talk" -- the third single off Coldplay's latest album "X&Y" -- also played in the background during a later scene in the November 30th "CSI: NY" episode.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Talk" ringtone will be available for a limited time at most major cell phone carriers and is in Realtone format, meaning it's taken from the band's original recording.
