RollingStone.com reports that Death Cab For Cutie and the Black Eyed Peas are among the bands booked to play the sixth annual Giant Village New Year's Eve event in Los Angeles. Other acts scheduled to play Giant Village 2006 include Crystal Method and DJs Z-Trip, John Digweed, Junkie XL, and Jason Bentley.

The Giant Village New Year's Eve party takes place on December 31st on Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
