The new Simple Plan CD captures the Montreal band during a performance for MTV's "Hard Rock Live" series in Orlando earlier this year. Simple Plan's "Live From the Hard Rock" gets released this Tuesday, October 4th, but you can hear it now at www.mtv.com.

The hotly anticipated second album from Scottish alternative-art rockers Franz Ferdinand is called "You Could Have It So Much Better" and features 13 tracks. To hear Franz's sophomore set before its October 4th release, head to www.MTV.com.
