NASHVILLE, TN  [Wednesday Sep.28.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Green Day has rescheduled a couple shows the band was forced to cancel last month.

August shows in Dayton, Ohio and Nashville, Tennessee were postponed after a doctor ordered singer Billie Joe Armstrong to rest his voice.

Green Day will now play Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center on October 16th and head to the Nutter Center in Dayton on October 17th to make up the shows.

Green Day is touring behind its Grammy-winning album, "American Idiot."
