BOSTON, MA  [Monday Sep.26.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Some very special guests are joining U2 on the final leg of its 2005 Vertigo Tour.

Among the acts providing support for the Irish rockers on their sold-out arena tour are Keane, Kanye West, Patti Smith, the Arcade Fire, and Damian "Jr Gong" Marley, who is the late Bob Marley's son. More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

U2 has already played eight shows this month with special guests Dashboard Confessional. After taking the rest of September off, U2 returns to the road on October 3rd for a run of dates extending through December 19th.

U2 is touring behind its latest album, "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb."
