Promotional commitments cause Stain to cancel Euro trek.
NEW YORK, NY [Tuesday Sep.13.2005] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Staind has canceled its European tour this month and instead will stay stateside to promote its new album "Chapter V."
According to an official press release, the band was forced to cancel their planned month-long European tour, "due to U.S. promotional commitments." The tour was to kick off September 19th in Dublin, Ireland. The dates will be rescheduled for March 2006.
In a joint statement, Staind singer Aaron Lewis, guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Johnny April and drummer Jon Wysocki said, "We love touring overseas and are incredibly thankful to our European fans. Unfortunately at this time, circumstances prevent us from coming over to perform live. We apologize for this inconvenience to our fans and look forward to seeing everyone in the future."
Staind will announce their North American headlining tour dates in the coming weeks.
