Kelly Clarkson
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Sep.13.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Kelly Clarkson has been hit with bronchitis, forcing her to cancel some shows on her current "Hazel Eyes" tour.

The singer managed to perform "Shelter" at MTV's "ReAct Now: Music & Relief" telethon last Saturday but has been unable to perform full concerts since September 7th.

According to MTV.com, Clarkson was under doctor's orders to rest due to the bronchitis and was forced to cancel two Southern California appearances last week. The lingering illness also caused Clarkson to cancel her September 9th show in Reno, Nevada; her September 10th concert in Las Vegas; and her September 12th show in Spokane, Washington.

The missed dates are currently being rescheduled, and updates will be posted at www.KellyClarkson.com. The make-up shows are expected to take place later this year.

Clarkson has been touring behind her latest album, "Breakaway," on RCA Records.
