CHICAGO, IL  [Wednesday Aug.31.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- What do Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Floetry, and Mike Shinoda have in "Common?"

The answer is: Common.

Besides promoting his own successful album "Be," Common's been making music with West, Keys, neo-soul duo Floetry and Linkin Park's Shinoda.

Listen for Common on the track "My Way Home" from Kanye West's just-released album "Late Registration," and on a song from Alicia Keys "MTV Unplugged" live album, due October 11th.

You can also hear Common on Floetry's forthcoming album "Flo'Ology," in stores November 8th. The Chicago rapper, known for his thoughtful jazz-rap, joins Floetry on the CD's first single, "SupaStar."

Shinoda worked with Common on the song "Back Home" for the Linkin Park emcee's forthcoming solo album "The Rising Tide." Shinoda will release the album under the name "Fort Minor" on November 22nd.
