LONDON, UK  [Thursday Aug.18.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Madonna is nursing three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand after falling off a horse earlier this week.

According to the pop superstar's official web site, www.madonna.com, Madonna was out riding at Ashcombe House, her country home outside London, when she fell from a new horse. After the accident, she was taken to the hospital, where she was released later that evening.

That same day, Madonna was celebrating her 47th birthday with her husband, film director Guy Ritchie and her children Lourdes and Rocco.

Madonna plans to release her tenth studio album, "Confessions On A Dancefloor," on November 15th. The first single will be the synth-disco jam "Hung Up."
