NASHVILLE, TN  [Tuesday Aug.16.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Green Day was forced to cancel its show yesterday in Nashville, Tennessee, due to one of the band members being taken ill.

According to a press release from Reprise Records, Green Day's August 15th performance at the Gaylord Entertainment Center was "regretfully" postponed due to "illness of a band member."

The statement didn't say which band member had been take ill, but Green Day and the concert promoter are working to reschedule the postponed show.

A new date and further details will be announced as soon as they become available. If you have tickets for the August 15th Green Day concert in Nashville, hold on to them. The tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date.
