Killers, Beck To Play Across the Narrows
The Killers, Beck to play first Across the Narrows fest.

NEW YORK, NY  [Wednesday Aug.10.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Killers, Beck and Oasis are among the artists booked for the first Across the Narrows music festival in New York City.

Along with the Killers, Beck and Oasis, the Pixies will headline the festival, which was previously called Across the Pond.

RollingStone.com reports that Across the Narrows will take place in two waterfront ballparks on October 1st and 2nd. The artists will perform simultaneously at Staten Island's Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George and at Brooklyn's Keyspan Park in Coney Island.

Other acts confirmed to play the Across the Narrows festival include Gang of Four, Interpol, Jet, Doves, Built to Spill, the New York Dolls, Tegan and Sara, Kasabian, The Raveonettes, and Rilo Kiley.

Tickets to the shows go on sale August 12th.
