LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jul.25.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Maroon 5, John Legend and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler are among the artists getting "Sly" on a new compilation called "Different Strokes By Different Folks."

According to RollingStone.com, the album features Maroon 5, Legend and Tyler performing cover versions of classic songs by Sly and the Family Stone. John Mayer, Joss Stone, Moby, the Roots, the Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am, OutKast's Big Boi, Buddy Guy, Chuck D, and Janet Jackson also contribute to the disc.

"Different Strokes By Different Folks" is set for release September 27th.
