LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Jul.15.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Gwen Stefani is confirmed to play this year's Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

Stefani, who will receive the Teen Choice Visionary Award at the event, plans to open the show with a performance of "Hollaback Girl."

Hilary Duff and actor-comedian Rob Schneider will handle hosting duties.

The 2005 Teen Choice Awards show airs August 16 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT on FOX.
