Philly Live 8 Expands
Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Toby Keith to US Live 8 show.

PHILADELPHIA, PA  [Wednesday Jun.29.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas and Toby Keith have signed on to play Live 8 in Philadelphia on July 2.

Other new additions to the Philly Live 8 show include Josh Groban and Def Leppard. They join a lineup that includes Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews Band, Destiny's Child, Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Rob Thomas, Sarah McLachlan, Bon Jovi, Kaiser Chiefs and P. Diddy. Will Smith will host the US edition of the anti-poverty concert.

One million people are expected to attend the Live 8 shows taking place around the world, and two billion are expected to watch the event as it airs live on MTV and VH1. The concerts will also be broadcast on Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks and XM Satellite Radio, and webcast on AOL Music.
