NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday Apr.28.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- It's the right time for Joss Stones fans and the Gap clothing store.

Joss Stone's cover of "The Right Time" -- a song made famous by Ray Charles and Etta James -- is featured in a new Gap television commercial and, beginning today, April 28, Gap is offering free, exclusive downloads of the Joss Stone recording on its Web site to kick off the retailer's summer ad campaign.

Gap is offering the free download in Windows Media format to anyone who visits and provides their email address. The television ad, which promotes white denim, will also encourage viewers to "Get the song at Gap.com."

Stone said in a statement, "I had a great time shooting the Gap commercial, it felt really special."

Fans can also enter an online sweepstakes at http://www.jossstone.com for a chance to win merchandise signed by Joss Stone, including CDs and posters, as well as Gap gift certificates.
