Killers Mixing Old and New on Tour
The Killers plan to debut new material on current tour.

The Killers
NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Apr.15.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Killers are mixing the old with the new on their current North American tour.

Along with tracks from the group's debut album "Hot Fuss," the band plans to treat fans to some new songs that may end up on the next Killers album.

One thing fans might be hearing more of in the new songs is harmony. Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers told MTV, "One new song is called 'Where Is She,' it's got a great feel, some great harmonies on it. We didn't do enough harmonies on our first album, so you're gonna hear more of that on the second album - those Police-esque harmonies."

The next Killers CD will also include more organs and pianos and les synthesizers. Flowers said, "We're playing other new songs - 'Higher and Higher,' 'Daddy's Eyes,' 'It's Only Natural' - that will make it onto the second album. You can't drift too far off the first record, but these songs are what the new album will sound like. A bit more organic, with organs and pianos. We don't want to be 'that [synth] band' forever. We'll let someone else be that."
