LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Apr.14.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The rumors ARE true -- Britney Spears is going to be a mom!

In an April 12th posting on her newly redesigned Web site, the pop star confirmed that she is indeed pregnant. "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together," wrote Spears.

Spears also indicated that the pregnancy is going fine. In her message to fans, the 23-year-old singer said, "There are reports that I was in the hospital this weekend. Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers."

Spears married Kevin Federline on September 18, 2004, and Britney is also stepmother to Federline's two children, 2-year-old Kori and 8-month-old Kaleb, with actress Shar Jackson.

In May, fans can get a peek into Spears and Federline's courtship, engagement and wedding when UPN airs a six-episode reality show about the couple.
