LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Feb.23.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart and AC/DC's Brian Johnson are among the celebrities who will "rock the cure" in the fight against breast cancer. These artists, along with Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Mick Fleetwood, Ellen DeGeneres and David Carradine, are taking part in Expedition Inspiration and Hard Rock Café's first ever "Designer Gibson Guitar Auction." The auction benefits the Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

Participating entertainers decorated 50 Gibson Les Paul SG Special guitars to be auctioned off live at the Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles on May 3. Although the live auction at the Hard Rock Café is by invitation only, the general public can get in on the action and bid online starting April 24, 2005 at http://juliensauctions.com/. Money raised from the auction goes to promote research at the USC/Norris and UCLA/Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Centers, both leaders in cancer prevention and research.

For more information or to make a donation to Expedition Inspiration, visit

For additional information on the auction or to bid on an item starting April 24, head to http://juliensauctions.com/.
