LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Feb.9.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- As if performances by Green Day, U2, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5 and Kanye West weren't enough reason to tune in to the 47th annual Grammy Awards show, things just got even better with newly announced performers that include Usher, Franz Ferdinand, Gwen Stefani and the Black Eyed Peas.

MTV.com reports that multiple nominees Maroon 5, The Black Eyed Peas, Franz Ferdinand, Gwen Stefani and Los Lonely Boys will open Sunday night's show at the Staples Center. The artists will appear in one performance on three different stages.

Usher is also set to perform during the show, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will sing a duet. There are also plenty of stars serving as presenters during the awards program, including Hoobastank, Ludacris, Christina Milian and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

Rapper and actress Queen Latifah hosts the Grammy Awards, which air live from Los Angeles on February 13 at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS.
