Crow Hatches Two New Albums in 2005
Sheryl Crow to release two new albums this year.

Sheryl Crow
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Jan.5.2005]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Is Sheryl Crow pulling a Nelly?

Not exactly, but the rock singer-songwriter does plan on releasing two albums this year, though not at the same time. Both albums are already finished, and Crow tells Billboard.com, "I want to put out an artist record first and then a pop record in the fall. I'm going to hand both my records in [to Interscope] probably in the last bit of January."

As for the difference between the "artist" record and the "pop" record, Crow says, "Probably the art record will never get any airplay. It's just a really heartfelt, stripped-down, no-bells-and-whistles record that lyrically probably has heavier content than maybe a pop record does."
