by Krista Desens

Usher
NEW YORK, NY  [Monday Dec.20.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- People were looking for Usher in 2004. And they were also looking for Britney.

Last week, America Online proclaimed Usher as the most-searched-for male in 2004, and Britney Spears was named the most-searched-for person of the year. "That's Hot" hotel heiress Paris Hilton came in second to Spears as the most-searched-for person overall, while Hilary Duff was the most-searched person for kids and teens.

As for the most searched songs of the year, it was all about Usher. "Burn" was the most searched song of 2004, with the Usher-Alicia Keys duet, "My Boo," coming in second. "Yeah!" came in at number five.

AOL tallied up the year's top searches based on the number of online queries received through AOL.com and the AOL service. For AOL's complete list of top searches, go to http://hot.aol.com/2004/index.html.
