ROME, ITALY  [Monday Nov.22.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- OutKast, Usher, Linkin Park and The Black Eyed Peas were among the winners at this year's MTV Europe Awards. OutKast took home the Best Group, Best Song and Best Video awards, while Usher won the Best Male Artist and Best Album honors.

Linkin Park was named the Best Rock Group, and Best Pop Group went to The Black Eyed Peas. Other winners included Alicia Keys for Best R&B Artist, D12 for Best Hip Hop Artist and Britney Spears for Best Female Artist.

The MTV Europe Awards show took place last Thursday at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy, and Reuters reported that 6,000 people attended. The MTV Europe Awards were determined by European fans, who voted online and with mobile phones.
