NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Nov.19.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- You may have noticed a change in Avril Lavigne's style lately. She's put aside her tank tops and ties for a more girlie look these days.

In an interview with MTV, Lavigne explained her wardrobe change. Says the "My Happy Ending" singer, "Everyone's [asking me], 'Are you more girlie now?' And it's like, 'Well, yeah, I'm becoming a woman. I'm growing up." Lavigne adds, "I definitely think my style is changing. Of course it's going to; when I first came out I was 17 years old. I was a kid. Now I'm 20. You're going to change tremendously through those years."
