LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Nov.18.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- In an interview with msnbc.msn.com, Ryan Cabrera explained what his hit single, "On the Way Down," means to him.

Cabrera says, "'On the Way Down' is about searching for happiness in things that weren't real, searching for happiness in material possessions. For me, it's a spiritual song. But I left the song open to interpretation. It could be about a girl, or it could be about a pet parakeet."

In the same interview, Cabrera admitted to having a bit of a sweet tooth. He confessed, "I really like chocolate chip cookies."
