LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Oct.29.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Jay-Z and Linkin Park will be featured in the pilot episode of MTV's new live performance series, "MTV Ultimate Mash-ups."

The Jay-Z vs. Linkin Park episode is scheduled to air November 10 at 10:30 pm (ET and PT). In the Mash-up series, artists come together to combine their songs in front of a live audience. The Linkin Park-Jay-Z episode captures the artists during their July 18th show at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. Some of the mash-ups performed include Numb/Encore, Izzo/In the End and Dirt off Your Shoulder/Lying from You, according to the Linkin Park Web site.

On November 30, Linkin Park and Jay-Z will release a mash-up CD/DVD package called "Collision Course." The CD-EP contains six studio recordings of the mash-up songs and was produced by Linkin Park's MC Mike Shinoda. The DVD contains behind-the-scenes footage and the MTV broadcast version of The Roxy show.
