LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Oct.14.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- A few rockers are wearing halos these days, but not the kind you think.

Hoobastank, Incubus and Breaking Benjamin are all huge fans of the video game "Halo," and each band has written a new song for the game's sequel, Halo 2. The "Halo 2: Original Soundtrack Volume One" includes "Connected" by Hoobastank, "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin and Incubus' four-part operetta "The Odyssey." Rock guitarist Steve Vai is also featured on two tracks.

The Halo 2 video game and a separate album both arrive in stores on November 9. Record label Sumthing Else Music Works, Inc. will release "Halo 2: Original Soundtrack Volume One."
