But US fans will be glad to know the Scissor Sisters are as American as apple pie -- or the Big Apple, where the group got its start.

Guitarist Del Marquis tells NME.com that US fans don't always realize the Scissor Sisters are from New York City. Laughs Del Marquis, "They all think we're from England. They're completely confused. Americans think we are an import band."
