Recently, the Canadian pop rocker was back in the studio to record the Spongebob Squarepants theme song for the soon-to-be-released Spongebob Squarepants Movie. Butch Walker is producing and mixing Lavigne's recording.

The Spongebob Squarepants Movie soundtrack lands in a record store near you on November 9, and the movie hits screens November 19, just in time for Thanksgiving.
