World Music Award Winners
Usher, OutKast, Norah Jones, Avril Lavigne honored.

LAS VEGAS, NV [Tuesday Sep.21.2004] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Usher and OutKast each won three awards at last Wednesday's World Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. Usher was named World's Best Male Pop Artist, Best Male Artist and Best R&B Artist, while OutKast was honored as Best Pop Group, Best Pop/Hip-Hop Artist and World's Best Group.
Norah Jones took home two awards for Best Pop Female Artist and World's Best Female Artist. Other WMA winners included Alicia Keys for Best R&B Female Artist, Avril Lavigne for Best Pop Rock Artist and Evanescence for Best Rock Artist. The Best New Female Artist award went to Hilary Duff, while Kanye West picked up Best New Male Artist. Maroon 5 was honored as Best New Group.
