BERKELEY, CA  [Monday Sep.20.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz is a big UC Berkeley sports fan. Just like Jack Nicholson is known for cheering on the Lakers at most games, fans can usually see Duritz cheering on the Cal Bears.

The San Francisco Chronicle spotted Duritz at last Saturday's Cal football game against New Mexico State. The singer was down on the field before the football game showing his team spirit and acting "all proud and Bear-like," according to the newspaper.
