[Monday Sep.13.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- US audiences are now catching on to the Scissor Sisters, but the campy, feel-good band is already a smash in the UK. Not only has the band sold over a million records there, but they've already released five singles from their self-titled debut album.

Another indicator of the band's success in the UK is the growing popularity of "Take Your Mama Out" parties. To gain admission to these British bashes, partygoers must attend with their mother. As singer Ana Matronic tells MTV, the only rule is "no mom, no entry."
