Maroon 5 Big on Voting
Maroon 5 selling concert tickets to benefit Rock the Vote.

by Krista Desens

Maroon 5
LAS VEGAS, NV  [Thursday Sep.2.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Adam Levine says he's glad he attended the Democratic National Convention in July.

In an interview with the Boston Herald, the Maroon 5 frontman says, "I thought it was an important thing to be at. We have a lot of young fans who are very impressionable. They need to know how important this election is."

That's one reason why Maroon 5 supports Rock the Vote and why the band has donated some concert tickets to benefit the non-profit organization. For the next couple days, fans can purchase tickets to Maroon 5's September 12 show at the Las Vegas Palms Resort and Casino through the web site Stubhub.com. The tickets cost $148.00 each, and all proceeds benefit Rock the Vote.
