LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Aug.24.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Hoobastank's been having a great year with their chart-topping album, "The Reason," and now the band has another reason to celebrate.

"The Reason" has just been certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) -- that's two million records sold in the US.

Right now, Hoobastank is enjoying a short break before they kick off a European tour at the end of September. Also, tune in to the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, August 29, to see Hoobastank perform.
