TORONTO, CANADA  [Monday Jun.28.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- On June 20, the Canadian people declared Avril Lavigne their favorite. The "Don't Tell Me" singer won the People's Choice – "Best Canadian Artist" honor at the 2004 MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA) held in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Other winners included Linkin Park, who won the People's Choice Favorite International Group award, and Usher, who won the People's Choice Favorite International Artist award. Best International Video – Group went to OutKast for "Hey Ya," and Beyonce picked up Best International Video – Artist for her clip featuring her boyfriend Jay-Z. The Beastie Boys were honored with the "Trail Blazer Award."
