CHICAGO, IL  [Friday Jun.25.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Big Boi of OutKast, Morrissey and Counting Crows perform at the House of Blues in Chicago next month. They are taking part in American Express' Blue Jam Sessions. Big Boi takes the stage on July 15 with Sleepy Brown. The Counting Crows play July 16 with the Graham Colton Band and Jem. On July 17, "Irish Blood, English Heart" singer Morrissey headlines.

The shows are part of Blue from American Express' continued Blue For Music effort to raise money and awareness for music education programs in public schools across America. Net proceeds from the July 15-17 shows go to music education programs in Chicago-area public schools.

Tickets go on sale to American Express cardholders this Sunday (June 27) and cost $55 each (plus any applicable fees). If you aren't an American Express cardholder and want to go to one of the shows, you can try to win tickets. Westwood One/Premiere Radio Network is sponsoring national contests to win trips to Chicago and concert tickets, and some Chicago radio stations will also feature contests to win admission.
