Maroon 5
SAN DIEGO, CA  [Friday Jun.18.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- It's true that Adam Levine's ex-girlfriend inspired most of the lyrics on Maroon 5's platinum album "Songs About Jane." But what does Jane think about having the details of her and Levine's relationship exposed?

In an interview with the San Diego Union Tribune, Levine clears the air. "I asked permission," says the Maroon 5 singer. "I thought it would be the responsible, classy thing to do." Levine adds, "She was flattered and she thought I accurately depicted the relationship we had. It's all good. No bitterness. It's all very much in the past."
