TOKYO, JAPAN  [Friday Jun.4.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- OutKast has added another award to its collection.

At the MTV Japan's Video Music Awards (VMAJ), Andre 3000 and Big Boi took home Album of the Year for their multi-platinum "Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below." The duo also delivered a live performance-their first in Japan after winning the Grammy.

Other big winners at the VMAJs included Missy Elliott, who was awarded Best Video of the Year for "Pass That Dutch." Mary J. Blige and The White Stripes also received awards for Most Impressive Performance and Best Direction in a Video, respectively. Japanese pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki won Best Female Video for "Because of You." Other honorees were Ozzy Osburne, who received a special Legend Award, and Janet Jackson, who was presented with the Inspiration Award.
